Where It All Began

I started Lettering in 2017, after being laid off from my job. On Instagram one day I stumbled across some hand lettering post and was instantly intrigued. That very day I took up a normal ball point pen and started to follow along.

It didn't take me long to realize that I was in love with this form of art I had just discovered. Learning the different strokes and nuances of Hand Lettering became my daily addiction. This snowballed into a mad frenzy buying spree, purchasing every lettering stationary available on the inlaid; which wasn't much, and online.

After months of perfecting my art solo and with hundreds of hours in online classes; I started to teaching others hand lettering-calligraphy along with other lettering styles. It became more increasingly clear that there was a gaping hole for a market of lettering stationary on the island.

So I determined to fill that gap and Lettering Barbados was born. I am so grateful to all the support of my follwers, students and well wishers that stuck with me till this dream became a reality. I know there is a lot more great things in store for Us!
